I am working! Wind and Truth and Wicked took up a lot of my free time this weekend, but I have still been productive. Brandon Sanderson is always inspiring, and this particular quote helped me through some writer’s block when it came to writing another fantasy book that didn’t feel unique enough.

“That’s the sole originality we need. A story might have been told before, but you haven’t told it.”

Progress on my book

I’m at 45,000 words! Some if it feels like cheating because I’m using epigrams, but I really love a good epigram.

But anyways, I now have 21 days to write 15,000 words.

After that, of course, comes even more work as I’ll need to revise, edit. and find readers to get feedback. It’s far from done, but actually getting a whole, entire, complete manuscript done is a huge accomplishment for me. So, fingers crossed, I can keep the momentum going.
