The first book I’m trying to finish– I have years worth of outlines, first chapters, and character profiles– by the end of 2025(😬) is inspired by The Little Mermaid.
I wanted to invite everyone to follow me down the rabbit hole as I explore the world of sirens, mermaids, princes, and mythology. But that allusion/metaphor doesn’t quite work. Though there will be tea and madness.
What about: Get dragged away by the undertow with me? Follow me into the maelstrom? Brave the waves with me? Dive down deep into the whirlpool? Get swept away into the eye of the storm?
Hmmm…..🤔 It’s a work in progress…like my book.
It’s the most I’ve written for one story and I’m determined to finish this one! Trying to stay positive as the end of the year fast approaches!
